How a facade changes
the character of a building.
The project began with an established floor plan. We explored different facade options through colour combinations, glazing surrounds, balcony treatments and the building’s crown.
The same structure takes on different identities. Some options are unified by a continuous horizontal line; others emphasise vertical volumes and colour accents. A consistent viewpoint reveals the contribution of each choice.
Character revealed
from different sides.
End views reveal the depth of the surrounds, projecting balconies and the building’s upper outline. They make the difference between a continuous canopy and individual vertical elements particularly clear.
