Quiet Shore is a proposal for a beach within a natural coastal landscape. The design follows the slope and the shoreline, creating a gradual transition from the arrival point to the water.
Timber walkways, light shade structures and small planted islands bring the spaces together. The open horizon remains the focus.
The way down is part of the experience.
Stairs and landings follow the hillside, offering changing views of the sea. Slender dark railings with timber handrails trace the route through the planting.
A soft line between surfaces.
The lighter promenade meets a warmer-toned sunbathing deck along a flowing edge. Planting islands and sculptural benches break up the surface, with the natural beach continuing towards the water.
Choose your place by the water.
Open sun decks alternate with the patterned shade of circular pergolas. Timber, stone, light fabric and coastal planting give each resting place its own character.
The whole shore, in one view.
The overhead view shows how the arrival area, branching paths down the slope and the long beach terrace connect. Resting places are distributed along the water.
A place to slow down, feel the timber underfoot and stay a little longer by the sea.
